According to a notice sent to the City of Seward from Hamilton Construction, the contractor doing the mitigation and repair work on Lowell Point Road, the project is moving into the road surfacing phase and additional disruption to traffic will take place through June 12.

Road surfacing work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, and traffic will be limited to one lane while the surface work is taking place. Flaggers will be present, and delays may last as long as an hour.

During the high traffic times of 7-9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. one lane will remain open.
