Jacoby at TYR Pro Swim Series

Seward High School Rising Senior Lydia Jacoby at the TYR Pro Swim Series in April. Now an Olympic gold holder.

According to the Olympic website, Seward’s Lydia Jacoby will be swimming again for a medal in the Mixed 4 x 100m Medley Relay tonight at 6:43 p.m. Alaska time. Jacoby will be joined by Torri Huske, Ryan Murphy, and Caeleb Dressel.

Seventeen-year-old Jacoby is the gold medal holder in the woman’s 100m breaststroke.

Eighteen-year-old Huske finished fourth in the women’s 100m butterfly on Saturday.

Twenty-six-year-old Murphy took the silver in the men’s 100m backstroke on Tuesday and the silver in the 200m backstroke Wednesday.

Twenty-four-year-old Dressel is first in the men’s 50m freestyle semifinals which finished a few minutes ago. He took gold in the 100m freestyle Wednesday night, and gold in the 100m butterfly about an hour ago. He also swam on the U.S. Men’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay gold medal team earlier in the week.
