The City of Seward is seeking candidates to serve on the City of Seward Historic Preservation Commission and Port & Commerce Advisory Board. Seats are open to citizens that live in Seward and the surrounding area for both organizations.
The Historic Preservation Commission meets at least twice a year in the City Council Chambers, and at such other times as may be requested by the commission chair or the administration. Each commissioner serves for a three-year term.
There are two seats available with terms expiring in May 2025.
The Port & Commerce Advisory Board (PACAB) meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month, usually during the lunch hour from 12 to 1 p.m., or at other times as needed.
There is one seat available with a term expiring in July 2023.
