“Waves Over Seward,” a movie about the 1964 earthquake plays daily at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Zudy’s Café, 501 Railway Avenue, next to the SeaLife Center. The event is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Seward Library.

The City of Seward is holding its Halloween Spooktacular at Forest Acres Campground from 3-6 p.m. on Oct. 31. Costumes are encouraged at the free-to-attend event, and many activities are planned, including a haunted trail, a photo booth run by the Senior Center and a Rotary-sponsored duck pond.
