POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Parks & Recreation Deputy Director
The City of Seward is seeking applications from interested persons for the position described below. Completed job applications and a current resume can be submitted to the City of Seward Personnel Office.
Parks & Recreation Deputy Director: This is a full-time position Grade 8A $29.52 DOE.
This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of parks, campgrounds, sport fields, trails, cemeteries, playgrounds, gardens, parking lots and related recreation facilities
Education and Experience required: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, college or university with coursework in safety management, building and grounds management or related areas preferred, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Successful applicants must pass a background investigation and drug testing. Preference may be given to current City employees.
