Thomas Otto Prochazka, 71, passed away on July 17, 2022, in Moose Pass, Alaska from melanoma cancer. Tom was born in Liberal, Kansas on September 22, 1950, and was one of six children. He graduated from University of Kansas in Lawrence as well as Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.
He and his wife Teddy Berglund moved to Alaska in the 1970s where he worked for State of Alaska Department of Fish and Game in Seward and Trail Lakes Hatchery in Moose Pass. He retired in 2019 from Trail Lakes Hatchery.
He is survived by his wife Teddy Berglund and two children, Juno and Keenan Prochazka of Moose Pass, as well as his two sisters and brother.
Tom was a lover of books, the outdoors, travel, and sports. People that knew Tom were impacted by the genuine person he was. He will be forever missed.
